The unicorn and her new-found friend Schmendrick, the slightly hapless magician, continue their journey towards King Haggard's castle and the increasing threat of the seemingly omnipotent Red Bull. On the way they encounter a forest thief chieftain, his world weary wife, Molly Grue, and the ghosts of a mythic band of heroes.
